Website Design & Development
Below you will find examples of websites I have developed from concept to delivery. I continue to maintain and update many of them.
Corinne Cath-Speth is a cultural anthropologist whose work explores engineering culture, Internet governance and the management of the Internet’s infrastructure. I designed a new personal website for her to showcase her profile as an academic, researcher and consultant.
Anandini Wadera is an Acupuncturist and Herbal Medicine specialist. She needed a website revamp to push her brand and expand her clientele. I developed an aesthetic for the website using a hand drawn peacock feather she had and helped her to structure the content. This was implemented in a customised WordPress theme.
Kirsty O’Connor is an Artist-Maker based in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. I helped her build a new website to promote her work. I advised on how to structure the content and then used Squarespace to create a site that would be easy for her to maintain.
Transformance music needed a redesign of their existing website and functionality to sell online resources and training packages. I moved their website to a new theme, restructured the site, updated and set up new content, and in collaboration with a social media consultant integrated Mailchimp with Woocommerce to use email marketing alongside the Webshop.
ArtSquat is an Edinburgh charity empowering low income artists to develop and exhibit work. I helped them redesign their website to be more professional, expandable and easy to update by their own staff and volunteers.
This website was for my father who does social work in New Delhi, India. He uses it as a way of gaining contacts and encouraging people to donate money to his various initiatives.
Well4ever is a a health clinic located in South West London. They asked me to redesign their old website which was difficult to manage, not up to date with current web developments and hard to navigate. I moved all their content to a new, redesigned, WordPress site.
I now work as the webmaster for this site and update it regularly. In 2016 we also created a blog on a subdomain to promote the clinic and the work that they do.
Global is a world music venue in Copenhagen. They launched a new graphic identity in August 2015 designed by Leo Scherfig. He also designed the prototypes for the website which I then implemented by customising an existing WordPress theme. A PHP developer integrated the event functionality. The venue merged and changed their identity in 2018 so I have uploaded screenshots of the website when it was still running.
I designed and built this one page scrolling website for a small Edinburgh based production company. I continue to update and maintain the website when necessary.
