Full Colour Comic Anthology

I was fortunate enough to be part of the Full Colour Project run by BHP Comics in 2018 to encourage young BAME (Black Asian Minority Ethnic) comic artists. The project culminated in the publication of this beautiful anthology launched at Glasgow Comic Con in June 2018 where I had the opportunity to discuss my experiences on the project and my comic art in general in a panel discussion.

I chose this opportunity to write about my parents and the process of learning that your parents are “just human.” For me, that process was linked to accepting and valuing my heritage.
