Do you think this comic passes the Bechdel Test? Vote in the poll below!
I made this poll because while I was writing the comic I was with a friend and we got into a never ending discussion about whether the comic passed the test. It seemed to create more questions:
- If two women are discussing the patriarchy does that pass the Bechdel Test?
- Or what if they are discussing the politics of a man?
I suppose it comes down to what you want to establish by doing the test… I find the test more interesting(/devastating) when the answer to both the above questions is no. Anyway, we kept going round in circles with this phrase:
it’s not about a man, but it’s not not about a man either
…and sometimes it really feels like that sums up my life. More on that coming soon.
