Analogue Life Photography

I am passionate about analogue photography. I own a Pentax K1000. I like its simple mechanical functionality, it helps me focus my creative energy. I like that I think about each shot more carefully – sometimes lifting the camera to my eye, preparing the shot and then deciding it’s not worth it. I find the process of developing exciting. I love the unexpected imperfections that lend a unique mood to the roll. I like that the limited number makes each photograph more special and memorable. I love the colours on Kodak film and the drama of Ilford black and white.
