Term 2 at Rumi’s Cave Art Club

Clay Creatures & Stop Motion

We have had a fantastic 6 weeks at Rumi’s Cave designing animals and creatures with Newplast (clay) and making stop motion videos. We had 13 regular students and I am so proud of what they achieved.

Week 1 – We made snakes, caterpillars and sheep
Week 2 – We worked on octopuses and designed our own creatures
Week 3 – We designed props to set the stage for our stop motion videos
Week 4 – We practiced 2D stop motion and made a short animation with tissue paper
Week 5 – We made stop motion videos with our clay creatures and sets
Week 6 – We made more stop motion videos and collage creatures
